Director Biography - Zachary Hunter Pociecha

Zachary Pociecha is an American Film student who dreams of working on production for large movie or television studios. He mostly works on student projects but wants to expand to further projects with racing and feature length films. Zachary has also been using his drone skills to help strengthen his films. He started attending Compass College of Film and Media in August of 2020 and will continue his bachelor's degree at Calvin University. Zachary has started off his video production career live streaming his local church by operating cameras, directing, and live audio. His inspirations come from watching fantasy movies when he was a child and teenager like Harry Potter, Maze Runner, The Golden Compass and many more. Inspiring him to create films like he loved when he was a kid to give other people the exact same feeling he once had.

Director Statement

I wanted to create a film that captured the beautiful moment of a summer day and a romantic couple. This film is based on thoughts and experiences I have dreamed of. I love creating a feeling and atmosphere that people can fall into and relate to. Fireworks have been one of my favorite memories and I also love portraying the emotion of fireworks in film. Just filming this in the park and nature with no external lighting allowed me to show off the true beauty of the outside and the spectacular lighting of fireworks.
