Director Biography - Gabriel H. Borges Rolo

Gabriel is a young filmmaker based in São Paulo, originally an architect, who has also worked as a graphic designer and found himself in cinema in 2020. He has worked on a variety of advertising productions and artistic projects in agencies and production companies as a camera assistant, editor, director of scene and photography, while also creating his personal films, capturing moments of his life, such as his relationship with his wife and the birth of his first child. He started writing and shooting short films with the help of friends and coworkers. He founded Matagal, a creative studio and independent cultural production company, starting authorial and socio-cultural projects, as well as continuing to work in the advertising market on productions for agencies, producers and companies
