Director Biography - Jan Oprach

Jan Oprach, born in 1992, currently resides in Ludwigsburg, Germany where he studies Screenwriting at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. His early love for film eventually led him to write and direct various films of different style: a silent punchline film, an abstract animation film and a surreal narrative film about morning coffee. Oprach's interest in other art forms is broad. From fine art to poetry, novels and music he is curious about finding new things. He is currently writing two feature film screenplays and from time to time he writes a short story. He has a professional background in the media industry where he completed his apprenticeship in a film production company.
