Ashley is currently a senior at UNC Charlotte majoring in Computer Science. She focused on Film Studies for her outside concentration and fell in love with it. Ashley has always loved to write and create stories, and film was a wonderful way to use this. She was able to start working on short films for class projects, and has been diving into learning how to put together her ideas for more projects to produce outside of school. Though she will graduate with a C.S. degree, she hopes to eventually branch into the film world full time.
This is my first real short film project, and I was excited to see it completed! It is a personal subject for me, as I have had alopecia since I was 13 years old. And being new to the craft, this was a challenge to bring together, but I was blessed a great group of people to help me make it happen and a professor that encouraged me to tell this part of my story.
