The beauty of Guatemala contrasts with its many challenges. A very young country, almost 70% of its people are under 30 years. In this film, young Guatemalans film and documents the challenges they face, along with the places of refuge in which they overcome these challenges.

Andrew Stevenson is an Anthropologist and Filmmaker from Manchester, UK. He has conducted research in Guatemala since 2016, and has previously screened his film, 'Children of The Terminal', at the Central American International Film Festival, Los Angeles, (2019). Andrew's research and filmmaking focuses on the challenges faced by young people in Guatemala, and their strategies for overcoming them.
This film was made in collaboration with student filmmakers at University del Valle, Guatemala City. The film was shot in collaboration with young people from the university, and was edited in collaboration with Kevin Ortiz, University del Valle.
