In "StreetCity" we follow the remarkable journey of Jean Pierre "JP", a young man who immigrated from Peru to Australia at a young age. Despite facing the challenges of adapting to a new culture, JP finds solace and purpose in his love for football, a passion deeply ingrained in his Peruvian heritage. Growing up in the vibrant streets of Peru, JP learned the art of football from his two older brothers, who emphasized the values of teamwork, resilience, and creativity. When his family relocated to Sydney, JP's connection to the game became his lifeline amidst the unfamiliarity of his new surroundings. Wanting to bridge the gap between his Peruvian roots and his Australian upbringing, JP gathers a diverse group of fellow immigrants and locals to form a street football team named “StreetCity." Together, they bring a fusion of South American flair and Aussie grit to the concrete pitches of Sydney.
