Robert Oliver is predominately a short film director, who has also gained credits on larger productions, such as 'Lady Macbeth' and Michael Caine's 'My Generation'.
Debuting his first documentary, he strives to push boundaries in order to question society's normality.
Throughout my life, I've always been interested in how we communicate and how it is ever changing. The concept of 'Strangers' came to me some years ago. I wanted to see if we were losing the ability to communicate in person and if we are losing the art of communicating without technology. The markable global social changes due to Covid-19 and post national lockdowns felt like the perfect time to explore this concept.
