Stories of Regeneration: North Dakota

Chris and Tyler are neighboring farmers in Leonard, North Dakota. 10 years ago, they discovered a way to farm that could save our soil while feeding our world.
They partnered together to regenerate each other’s land through sharing resources, ideas, and even cattle.
Along the way, they found out that our soil is not much different than our communities. We need diversity and support from one another to truly thrive.

Director Biography - Evan Harrison

Evan Harrison is the CEO of Kiss the Ground and serves as the Director for all Kiss the Ground’s Productions. He brings decades of experience as a digital music and media innovator. He pioneered digital transformation at BMG and AOL, where he helped launch iconic music programs like AOL Music’s “Sessions” and “First Listen,” and later transformed iHeartRadio (formerly Clear Channel Radio) into a leading multi-platform content company as President of Digital. Recognized by Advertising Age’s “Entertainment A-List,” Details’ “50 Most Powerful Men under 38,” and the New York Observer’s “Power Punk” list, Evan is celebrated for his visionary leadership in storytelling and content creation.

A lifelong surfer, Evan’s passion for the ocean led him to environmental advocacy, joining the board of Surfrider Foundation to protect oceans and beaches. This commitment inspired his shift to environmental storytelling, ultimately leading him to Kiss the Ground, where he now champions soil health and regenerative agriculture. Under his leadership, Kiss the Ground has become a prominent voice in the regenerative movement, forging major partnerships and producing daily multi-platform content to connect consumers with farmers and industry pioneers. Since Evan joined, awareness of regenerative agriculture has grown significantly, reflecting his impact in blending media innovation with environmental advocacy.
