Stories from the Port of Osnabrück 2021 - Economy, culture and sub culture in the port of Osnabrück
More than a hundred years ago the city of Osnabrück got a port. Since then it has been connected to the international waterway network. The „Wehrmacht“ built large barracks there. After World War II the British Army took over the site until they withdrew in 2008.
The documentary visits people who work around the port today. They are bargemen, artists or activists.
The film was shot mostly between December 2020 and June 2021. It was the time of contact restrictions.
