Steven

LOGLINE: A mentally and physically scarred boy wreaks havoc against the world that has wronged him.

SYNOPSIS (Horror, Thriller, Drama)

On a dark rainy night in October of 1968, Steven was born to Scott and Linda Hask in the backseat of a car. Later, at the hospital, Steven is stolen out of the nursery by a deranged woman where she does something horrible to him. A doctor and nurse cover up this horrific event and tell Scott and Linda only about possible trauma to Steven’s brain.

Upon learning that Scott may have injured Steven during birth, Linda gets upset.

Years later, Steven, now older, is showing signs of the trauma from years ago. He is being mistreated by his mother and older sister, Marie, due to his odd behavior.

At school, Steven has a strange altercation with another student which causes the principal to get involved.

After being sober for a while, Linda commences drinking again. At work, Scott finds out his company is downsizing and will eventually close.

Before dinner one night, Scott discovers an issue with Steven which leads to a traumatizing family event. Later, Steven witnesses a horrific scene on TV, which sparks an interest in fire.

After witnessing another traumatizing event at his aunt’s house, his curiosity with fire continues, as he sneaks outside to do the unthinkable.

At the hospital, Linda has a run-in with her nurse from Steven’s birth. Days later, the nurse reveals crucial information to Scott and Linda about Steven.

At a County Fair, Steven has an encounter with a fair worker that angers him. Wanting to get revenge, he follows the man inside a dark ride.

On Halloween night, after trick or treating, The nurse from Steven’s birth shows up to drop off information for Scott and Linda that is taken by Marie. After sneaking out of the house, Steven causes mischief and is chased by a man into an open road where a tragedy occurs. Soon after, Steven snaps and heads back home which leads to a bizarre shocking ending.
