Steve Greenstein has an extensive career as an actor. Recently seen on POSE and upcoming Russian Doll, on Netflix. You can probably see him monthly on retro tv or the Icon network in a syndicated show having logged over 35 principal TV and Film roles. Steve has worked alongside such acclaimed actors as Burt Lancaster, TIm Robbins, Patty LuPone Chris Maloney and many more. Mr. Greenstein's stage work includes West SIde Story on London'sWest End,(Krupke) The National Tour of Flashdance The Musical(Harry) Guys and Dolls at the Asolo and Old Globe Theatres(Big Jule) Off Broadway credits include A Christmas Carol in Harlem( Jacob Marley) Another Man's Poison (Mel) and many others including work off- off Broadway at Theatre for the New City. Regional Credits include The Buddy Holly Story ( High Pockets) Flatrock Playhouse and Big RIver (Pap Finn). Mr Greenstein has written two solo shows thay have toured internationally, Voices from The Holy and Not So Holy Land, and From Bubby to Bat Yam. His play The Last Jew of Boyle Heights was produced off Broadway in 2019. He worked as a stand up comic for many years as a regular at the famed Comedy Store in Los Angeles and appeared on National TV as a stand up on ABC's Into the Night. He feels his experience in front of the camera is an invaluable addition as he finds his new passion of directing for film and television. COVID Ditty is a labor of love and he has enjoyed the knowledge gained through collaborating with the various artists involved in making this web series. He looks forward to directing and writing more for television and film.
