Steve is a winner of the 2001 British Columbia Festival of the Arts emerging writing program for playwriting; where he was awarded a full scholarship to the Vancouver Film School for their writing for film and television program. Since graduating his feature film script has won the semi-finalist award in Fade-In Magazine / The Writers Network 10th Annual Screenplay Competition.
He also trained with the Ivana Chubbuck Acting Studios (http://IvanaChubbuck.com), for a year before that - with additional guidance from John Levy (casting director ER), Rob Schneider, and Stephen Simon (Producer - What Dreams May Come).
Steve grew up in Toronto, but has spent 15 years living in British Columbia. He has served food, hammered nails, cleaned pools, checked people in, taught skiing and windsurfing, washed windows, and programmed and taught computer software. Recently he traveled to a charity in Thailand to record children singing, to Jakarta to exchange ideas with counter-revolutionaries, and to Eugene Oregon where he produced his first documentary.
He has published four poetry books, http://kIcKaSsPoEtRy.com; a variety of scripts, http://KickAssScripts.com; has been a guest on radio talk shows, reaching tens of millions of listeners about a new political movement he founded to hopefully improve life as we all know it (http://Corruption.Wiki) and for the last 10+ years has been living in Colombia working on a breakthrough in computer aided intelligence (http://YouTube.com/channel/UCvUGAmavRRxZ2eVobVaAfVg).
