Stephanie Kornick has written for television, theatre and film in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City. She previously wrote on Amazon's Emmy and Golden Globe Award-Winning TV show “Transparent.” Stephanie has since cultivated a dynamic career in storytelling, developing and selling original TV projects with esteemed networks and studios such as HBO and Universal Content Productions (UCP). Her biopic feature film Candy Darling is currently in pre-production starring actress Hari Nef. Stephanie’s theatrical work has also made waves, with her play Small Talk debuting at The Lex Theatre in Los Angeles before captivating audiences at the Greenhouse Theater Center in Chicago. Stephanie has a background in improv, performing with ComedySportz New York. She generously shares her expertise, having taught TV writing and screenwriting at reputable institutions like Writing Pad and the University of Colorado Denver. Stephanie has an MFA in Screenwriting and Playwriting from Northwestern University and a BA in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College.
