Harry Lange, a passive aggressive desk jockey, has been in auto-pilot for quite some time now. His home life with his girlfriend hasn't been going well lately, but he's hopeful that things will change. One day he shows up to work late and from there his life begins to unravel. He ends up losing everything, except his temper. With no where to go, he moves back home with his mom, Lucy. Before he gets settled in, there's a surprise waiting around the corner. His soon-to-be Stepdad, Frank Holenbach, an obnoxious blue collar working class man. From the second they meet there's tension between them. But for Lucy's sake, they try their best to coexist.
