Margaret is just trying to start 6th grade on a high note and go to the dance with the hottest boy in school. When her grandfather of a dad suddenly has a new young woman in his life, she is forced to re-evaluate what relationships look like in order to cope with her potential new stepmother.

Ellie always knew she wanted to be in the industry in some way. She moved from Texas to California for acting, but after graduating from college, she realized she loved writing just as much. She submitted the first draft of a pilot on a whim and ended up getting nominated for Best Drama Screenplay at Austin Revolution Film Festival in 2023. She currently resides in Los Angeles where she continues to learn and grow as a storyteller.
When we're growing up, we feel very alone in our circumstances. The truth is, we are not unique and there are other people who have experienced similar situations. I think there's something beautiful in the solidarity of shared experiences. I hope that by telling this story I can connect with others who can relate to what I went through and let them know they aren't alone.
