Steiní is an artist/filmmaker born in 2000 in Iceland. He started making short films with his childhood friends in the Icelandic countryside.
When he was 21 years old, he started to work on his first short film, THE ONE WHO WENT SOUTH (2022), which has been well-received at festivals like the Ann Arbor Film Festival, Brooklyn Film Festival, and, notably, Reykjavík International Film Festival with a special mention award.
