My name is Stefano Berrone, I am 27 years old and I am an independent filmmaker from Turin.
Over the years I have gained experience in all areas of audiovisual, I was selected for two consecutive years at the "From idea to subject Job Film Days" Writing Workshop, winning the second prize for the best subject at the 2024 edition, and I got a part in Carlo Goldoni's La locandiera.
Thanks to the knowledge I acquired, I wrote, directed and edited several short films, including Un piccolo gesto (2023), which was screened at Too Short To Wait 2024, and Un incontro inaspettato (2024), which was selected in three international festivals and at the fifth edition of Facciamola Breve. In addition, I was the co-director and cinematographer of the short film produced by Lacumbia Film Ci vorrebbe del sangue (2024) at the 100 Ore Torino 2024 Festival. In order to make my films I focused on the themes of loneliness and sexuality and was inspired by the tension-filled shots of Ryusuke Hamaguchi's films and Takeshi Kitano's editing.
