Stay Home Stay Safe

The story is centered in the intimate space of the shelter, where artificial intelligence creates inspiring virtual simulations for the writer. In the virtual world, the writer meets his muse, but she is not real enough. He therefore decides to leave the shelter. However, the artificial intelligence has a duty to keep the writer safe from reality and, above all, from himself.

Director Statement

Are we hiding from the world, or are we just hiding the world from ourselves? Our film "Stay Home Stay Safe" tells the story of a time in which we consciously choose the virtual world over the real one. We separate ourselves from outer space and instead we go inside our inner world. When man cannot control the imperfections and obstacles of the environment he encounters in the real world, he solves the situation by creating perfect but fictional spaces with an infinite number of possibilities. The representation of technological trends in an abstract form, where the absurd becomes real, is meant to evoke for the viewer a sense of a caricature representation of the present. I consider it essential to portray natural human desire in conflict with moral imbalance. To raise the question of the extent of the negative and positive impact of technology on society.
