After her family financial situation went down, Wenda, a spoiled girl, insists to make a birthday party with her friends and boyfriend in a remote place in the middle of the forrest. But, the fun stops after her bestfriend, Milo, confesses that she had slept with Wenda's boyfriend. Wenda breaks the party.

The next morning, Milo goes missing. Wenda and her friends go deep into the forrest to find Milo. But, they find something more sinister than a missing friend.

Director Biography - Yuda Joe

Yuda Juanda, born in Cimahi, April 1, 1991. He is the third of four children. Yuda's father worked as an Indonesian Army soldier, serving the country since 1984.
As a child, Yuda had dreamed of becoming an actor, even though his parents didn't allow it. His parents encouraged Yuda to follow in his father's footsteps as Army. But that didn't dampen his enthusiasm for pursuing his dreams.
While he was educating himself as an actor, he worked as a laborer in factories. For Yuda, acting gives him happiness in life. On stage, he has also been a stand up comedian, cabaret actor, sitcom actor, etc.
Yuda Joe worked on the film Stay, his first film to achieve his goals.

Director Statement

I am a person who believes in second chances. People shouldn't be judged by the fault of their past, but their effort to make changes in the present.
We love people with tenacity, always get up no matter how they fall. Through dearest friends' and my own experience, many who got to the lowest point of their life, and yet second chance always come to those who seek for it. Those experiences inspired me to make this film, "Stay".
We brought out several characters related to the lives that my friends and I experienced. There was John's character who had the opportunity to change his former life, as well as Anto's character who got a second chance from his lover. Milo got the opportunity to tell the truth to her best friend. Wenda the main character had to change from a privileged brat to that of a strong willed lady. But, sometimes people linger in the past and became Hendra, a man obsessed with retribution and revenge, whom waste his second chance.
No matter how much money you have, you can't buy a second chance, you can get it only with effort and patience.
