Stavan Short film

Stavan is a kid from a well to do family. One Sunday morning Stavan and his parents reach late to church. Inevitably his parents take him into the church along with them instead of making him sit in Sunday school with other children.

To his surprise the Priest reads the same passage from the Bible which his father read last night during their family prayers. By this time Stavan completely absorbs the essential message from this passage, which is - “SERVICE TO HUMANITY IS SERVICE TO GOD”.

Meanwhile in church, Stavan also observes few members being unfocussed and behaving inappropriately.

Story moves ahead as they come out of the church. A small boy is begging outside the church for food and money. This poor boy is neglected by almost every person, however Stavan can’t take his eyes off this poor hungry boy. Even Stavan’s father who speaks to his friend about giving donations to NGO, misses to see this poor boy begging for food.

Stunned by the helplessness of the poor boy, Stavan gives him a burger to eat, demonstrating how to live the message from the Bible. Stavan’s act of generosity and kindness leaves his parents proud, thrilled and speechless.

Towards the end something incredible happens, Stavan experiences that: while serving the poor hungry child - he has served God!
