A young African American student, Virgil Hawkins, becomes a superhero - his alter-ego "Static", who has the ability to control electromagnetism - and saves the day before school starts.

Director Biography - Shanna Johnson, Chris Campbell

Independent filmmaker , Screenwriter and Actress Shanna Johnson ; is a fresh face on the indie film making scene but has been practicing her craft since a young age. Born in San Francisco, CA August 2,1991. Shanna first got her feet wet attending theatre classes. It wasn't until her move to Fort Lauderdale, FL in the early 2000's where she first laid her hands on a camera , and begin to explore the art of filmmaking. Shanna spent many years attending a few video production, acting courses, and working on her screenwriting skills. Most of her knowledge stemmed from research and trial & error. After working on a handful of short films , plays, and even as an executive producer on a twelve episode web series she wrote; Shanna decided to take things one step further. In August of 2016 Shanna decided to start up Inktoreal Productions LLC. , hoping to produce amazing film content from the Broward County area with like minded individuals. With music videos , promos, and short films already under the production companies belt ; Inktoreal is set to release it's first 6 episode web series fall of 2017 written, co-directed , co-edited , and co-starring Shanna. Shanna Johnson is an unstoppable jack of all trades who is only beginning to offer a taste of what she can do. Future projects are already lined up for her to complete this upcoming year.
