Director Statement

I have always been passionate about art and design, and the physicality of making or creating something with your hands. If I am not creating, I am not happy. To marry these passions and interests with film making has been a career in the making and 2013 saw me launch into the world of short form documentary film making. Already, I have met some fascinating people along the way, been allowed to film in some wonderful places, and been granted access to some incredible archives. My film making journey has only just started, but my background in broadcast television has given me a sound footing in production and story telling. As a Graphic Designer I have a real eye for detail, and I take this into my filmmaking. I shoot my documentaries with a designer’s eye for detail and composition but with an ear for a good story.
There really is nothing that beats seeing your work projected on the big screen, and I have been lucky enough to have had many of my films shown to audiences in theatres across the UK. I plan to make sure this continues.
