Hello, my name is Matthew Charbeneau I am 20 years young, and I'm from Michigan. My dream is to be in the film industry as a director, writer, and producer. I've been making films since 2017 my first film was with my mom then a year or two later I did a Star Wars fan film with a couple of buddies then I started making original content in the year 2019 and now I have an LLC named MooshuFilms.
I've always loved Sci-Fi growing up I've been watching Star Wars since I was three years old and that inspired me to put my foot down and create something like a Sci-Fi film and so I did.
While watching this film I hope the viewer's attention catches you can't always trust strangers, this world can be a dangerous place and anything can happen even if you don't think nothing will, you just never know.
While filming it was super fun for everybody but the most challenging part was doing voice-over syncing, there was this one scene on the beach and it was super windy and we forgot to bring the mic with the windbreaker, so we had to do voice-overs. The editing process once all voiceovers were captured was a pain because I had to sync the voiceovers to the exact moments the characters talked and stopped talking and it was just hard to get that in sync.
On behalf of me and all the crew that worked on this film, it was so fun, there was a lot of moment where it was laughter especially the two scenes where one, me (Matthew) and Ally were arguing in the room after my character got off the phone with Ardi's character Dalek a lot of funny reshoots (At least 5-7) because me and Ally both keep forgetting our lines to what we say. Another funny moment was when me and Ardi were dragging Ally up the beach, we had around 3-4 clips, and out of 1 of those clips she wasn't smiling or laughing at the end.
This project is the biggest project of mine and well MooshuFilms as a whole, I'm beyond proud of how this filmed turned out, and I am very thankful and blessed for the awsome acting the cast pulled off, going into the future with my films I will be focusing on putting together better character arcs so the audience can connect to the characters and their emotions since this film sort of lacked that and practice voice over syncing but other than that it was fun and amazing project overall.
