This is our second year that we will be hosting Spookfest Film Festival along side of our regular festival which is held on the grounds of the VFW Post #4700 to support local community and provide a great atmosphere to come celebrate one of our favorite times of the year Halloween. We have costume contest, vendors and a car show as well as now our film festival.

**Additional Awards will be handed out the day of the Film Festival for special categories**

Rules & Terms

1. Films can not be more than an year old.

2. Films must be original and you must own the rights to all materials.

3. Student films must be completed by active students, please submit verification via email otherwise the film WILL BE DISQUALIFIED 48 hrs after submitting and NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

4. All judgments are final.

5. We will be screening at a live, family oriented event so we hold the right to screen what we feel is appropriate.

6. NO WAIVERS.

    The films were projected on a bed-sheet. There was no audience. Only 1 other filmmaker showed up. I never got a response to any of my emails. The entire festival took place in a random venue as a part of a family event however it was so poorly marketed that everyone there was there for the family event and completely talked over every film. This wasn't a film festival at all.

    Ethan, thank you for the feed back on our first year doing the film festival, we are glad to know that we have some things to work on for next year to make it better. We have been hosting the Spookfest as a community event there at the VFW for the last 7 years which is used to give back to our Christmas charity event, so don't think your support and contribution to this first part of it went with out notice.
