Director Statement

"Splash!" features an internal battle so many of us grow up facing. It is about a woman’s view of her body, marked by her upbringing and her childhood experience of the male gaze. It tells a contemporary story where technology further objectifies us. It depicts one woman’s daily struggle to feel confident in her skin. It is an empowering and poetic take on an issue that is close to my heart.
