Experiencing Interruptions?

Spirituality is More than Religion

Spiritual care is integral to health and wellbeing, particularly as we age. Many people do not realise how broad spirituality can be, or how important it is for human flourishing. This film is designed for the aged care sector in Australia to understand spirituality in the context of the government's new Aged Care Quality Standards, and the National Guidelines for Spiritual Care in Aged Care. This video is evidence-based and features the voice of an older person. The project was conceived by Ilsa Hampton, CEO of Meaningful Ageing Australia, and developed with input from aged care service providers and production company Room3. It is available at no cost to aged care services and has been very well received since its release in July 2019.
