Grigory Lukin (rhymes with "story" and "scene") is a nomad, adventurer, filmmaker, and author. His current secret lair is in Quebec City. He's a lifelong fan of science fiction: his ongoing quests include attending every fun film festival in the world and finding an agent for his sci-fi novel. His fiction (regardless of the medium) plays with tropes, subverts expectations, and leaves people wondering, "What if?"
In his spare time, Grigory enjoys brewing red wine, reading, and hiking from Mexico to Canada.
Did you know that gorillas are sentient, and that they can learn sign language? Did you know that we choose to keep them caged and/or kill them? What if god-like space aliens treated humans the same way? What if they almost drove us to extinction, and then kept us in an artificial habitat, with just enough to survive, and what if their only communication with us was “Here, human human human” as they tested out new treats?
This film was made on a $0 budget using some spectacular public-domain found footage, my old microphone, and my wild imagination. Narrated in the style of a David Attenborough documentary, this quirky – and low-key horrifying – sci-fi film is something I’m very very proud of.
