Director Statement

For a healthy person, a migrant domestic worker is just a servant. But for a wheelchair-bound elderly person who cannot look after themselves, the important role the migrant caregiver plays in their life is irreplaceable.
In recent years, several elderly relatives of mine need to be looked after by migrant caregivers after their spouses passed away. I notice the intriguing interaction between these elderly patients and their migrant caregivers, and this is what prompted me to write the story.
Ani is someone I met in real life, but she had already fulfilled her three-year contract in Taiwan and returned to her own country.
In this film, I aim to construct this unique scenery in Asia.
