Spaghetti Western

In the modern plains of Texas, a cowboy finds his talent in making spaghetti for the cowpokes and ranch hands working long days wrangling and fence-stringing in the hot Texas sun. In want of a restaurant space and with constantly dwindling finances, he heeds the suggestion of his little sister to enter his delicious spaghetti recipe in a local fair with a large cash prize, not to mention the judgement of a local legend of a cowboy. There’s a small problem, however: the competition is a chili contest.

Director Statement

When the original "spaghetti westerns" were made, they were the most beautiful and bizarre dramatizations of wild west stories made by foreign directors. This Spaghetti Western was made deep in the of Texas, but its foreign nature comes from its creators- a bunch of city kids. The legendary nature of the genre is captured in the mythical (and slightly ridiculous) story.
