Southern Truths is a soulful journey down a poetic truth.
Precious Daniels has evolved from a struggling single mother to a successful Author and Public Speaker. Emergently a tidal wave of happiness collides with a load of “What the hell is going on?!”and begins to attract a collective of unwanted people and circumstances. Wrestling with the series of uncomfortable events she seeks to find refuge in her village of zany friends, lovers and family. It's all unraveling before her eyes!
Denial of the anxiety engulfing her sends Precious spiraling into the pits of depression. She journeys through her mental illness under self-medication, until the toxic cocktail attempts to destroy her and everything she loves. Only her Truth has the power to set her free.
Witness how all things come together when you don’t deny your Truth.

Writer Biography - Prudence Sneed

Prudence the Auset, author of Out Came Words a Poetic Journey Down a Soulful Truth is often referred to as the common day Maya Angelou. She was born the only female child to Raymond W Sneed, III and Frances J Sneed in July of 1975. The story as told by her mother is that she was named by the Most High himself.

Prudence means wisdom in everyday life.

Prudence the Auset began her career as an Actress at the age of 14. Her first debut was in the stage production "For Colored Girls Who've Considered Suicide When the Rainbow was Enough". Produced by Mr. Willie A Minor at the South Dallas Cultural Center. Prudence the Auset is still a part of the Acting community, as well as extending into her Director's debut with films, In the Rain and webisode Southern Truths. As well as the sold out stage productions The God in You, written and directed by Prudence TheAuset and Senecca Baker, The Feel Good Gospel written by Gods Ink and Directed by Prudence TheAuset and Passport to Womanhood, written by Alex Gurley, edited and Directed by Prudence TheAuset.

Prudence the Auset began her Poetry career in Dallas, Texas the summer of 2006 hosting for Eklectic Nonsense in Irving, Texas, she shortly moved to the Mosaic Lofts in downtown Dallas, Texas and reigned as Spoken Word hostess with her show Eklectic Nonsense Poetry and Jazz at Tephejez Jazz Club. March 6, 2013 Prudence journeyed to Minneapolis, MN for her first ever National Slam competition where she represented Dallas TX in the Women of the World Poetry Slam. Out of 72 women this rookie placed in the top 20 coming in at No. 18. April 7, 2013 she became officially apart of the 2013 Dallas Poetry Slam Team where they traveled to Cambridge, Boston. December 8, 2013 she was blessed to represent Inkwell Slam Team of Arlington as she performed for Poetry giant and She-Ro Nikki Giovanni at the Dallas Kessler Theater. She was a member of the 2014 Inkwell Poetry Slam Team of Arlington, Tx and went on in 2015 to represent the Dallas Poetry Slam Team in Washington DC at IWPS 2015.

She often refers to her poetry as a testimony and storytelling. Prudence the Auset is known to take lemons and make lemonade with poetry. Her words have a way of traveling down some of the darkest of roads and findings light. She's not only creative but inspiring. She's the goddess of poetry, forever evolving into divine light and truth.
