The Fifth Annual South Shore Film Fest will be held on October 28, 2023. Due to COVID, the location of the live event has yet to be determined. We anticipate that there will be celebrity guests, a red carpet, screenings of the finalists and an award ceremony for each category. Each panel of judges consists of three industry professionals.

There will be three rounds for each category: General Entry; Semi-Finalists and Finalists. Each entry will receive their feedback and scorecards from the judges. Semi-Finalists and Finalists will receive digital laurels that they can display as they wish.

Prizes range from $25 - $200, depending on category and number of entrants. All finalists will be screened. Prizes awarded in the form of a Visa gift card or payment to Venmo or PayPal. There will be subcategory awards for genre, cinematography, director and performer in each category that has over 15 entries.

Projects do not have to be premiere to the festival.
Projects can already have distribution.
Monetary awards given only to those categories that have more than three entries.
Winners need not be present.
