Director Statement

This was my debut film that I got the oppurtunity to carry from an idea to workshopping a screenplay, designing in pre production, directing on location and finally editing myself. I originally started out wanting to just make something fun and cool but in putting time effort and a bringing in talented collaborators turned into something much more special. I shot the film in various locations across Sydney including my favourite pub The Lord Gladstone in Chippendale, Sydney. I had a blast on set working alongside my partner Kate who was the director of photography and she just flourished my ideas into reality. I also loved working with the actors, Hani my lead is a special guy always bringing his A game and a big smile to set. It was a spectacular start to my film directing career and I hope that I can push even higher than what this film achieved.
