Director Biography - David Lawrence Glassman

Born October 9, 1966 in Brooklyn NY. Studied Theater Arts at SUNY Stony Brook. He eventually got introduced to TV production and with a friend co-created a public access TV show entitled Frank Discussion, an open forum talk show covering local news topics. "Where WE discuss what YOU discuss".

In 1993, David moved to Scottsdale, AZ and both his Theater as well as his Public Access TV presence multiplied exponentially. He was introduced to Independant filmmaking and his true passion was finally ignited. He volunteered on a few movie sets that were being locally shot. He then enrolled in the Motion Picture curriculum at Scottsdale Community College and learned Cinematography, AVID editing and the nuts and bolts of filmmaking.
His first foray into filmmaking was a short film entitled DLBWA (Don't Look Back Without Anger) which garnered acclaim at his first festival up in Flagstaff, AZ as well Second Place Film to Video Narrative at the 1998 South by Southwest Film Festival.

David has maintained his independant spirit and chooses projects he believes in. It's not about the money but instead the artistic expression.
Testimony to that is the high number of 48 Hour Festivals he has been involved in. On a Friday evening you get assigned a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre and at 7pm you have 48 hours to write, shoot and edit a 3-5 minute movie utilizing those three elements.
David is the genuine element.
