Soul Alley
This documentary is the telling of life on several all black neighborhood streets during the Vietnam war. All were in Saigon. Drugs, violence, and sex, were the activities of escape from a brutal war that took a huge toll on American troops. This was the getaway of Black GI's. White GI's had theirs as well in a war that was held on two fronts; Multi ethnic American force working together during the day, but fighting each other at night. This experience as told by soldiers moves into the by product of a life of fun away from war...children. Children of the Dust to be exact. Babies of mixed heritage. Some Vietnamese and black, some Vietnames and white, some Vietnamese and Hispanic. Mistreated as they grew up, the majority still living there have wanted to find their fathers, and move to America for a better life. This is that story. Soul Alley.

I'm looking forward to getting the word out about the life of black soldiers living on Soul Alley, and all that came with it. As well as a look at the lives of their children they unfortunately left behind who are now in their late 40's and early 50's.
