Director Biography - Quinn O'Connor, Lily Castle, Ava Bunn

Quinn O'Connor, a 22-year-old artist with a passion for the dramatic arts, has been performing on stage since elementary school. He discovered his talent for special effects makeup shortly thereafter, which allowed him to create impactful makeup looks for theater and film. Now studying Dramatic Arts at USC with an emphasis in acting, Quinn is on a path to pursue his dreams and leave a lasting impact. With his vision and execution, there is no doubt that Quinn is a star in the making.

"Sore Throat" aims to alchemize the scars of the past into an otherworldly and evocative experience. The film explores the effects of trauma on identity, illuminating how it can transform its recipients into unrecognizable states. How much deceit can one ingest before being consumed entirely?
