Sophia is an actor, writer, director and artist based in Kildare. Sophia spent over 10 years working with Crooked House Theatre Company and Kildare Youth theatre as a student, facilitator and professional performer, (Mouth to Mouth, Project Arts Centre). She graduated with a BA in Psychology in 2012 and since then has been working in various roles across the film, theatre and music industries. Starring in RTE Storylands Wartgirl, appearing in various features, short films, commercials over the years. Sophia has also been on the production end of things with helping produce the Music Video for Paddy Casey's Everything Must Change alongside Banjoman Films, working alongside Ferdia Macanna on his feature film 'DannyBoy'. Shot in late 2019 right before the Corona-Virus Pandemic, 'Jellybabies' is Sophia's directorial debut. While on lockdown Sophia has gone on to direct and star in the music video for Emma Langford's single 'Mariana' and shot and directed the music video for Saoirse Casey's single 'Celeste'. Sophia is currently developing her next short film 'Morning Song' and looks forward to making it very soon
