Experiencing Interruptions?

Sons of Blackbird

Sons of Blackbird is a spoken word poem visually interpreted by film. It explores the history of Blackbirding, and descendants of the migration. Set in the modern day, we follow a Pasifika elder called Tupou, who reflects on the hard life he's lived working at a factory. Tupou’s health complications force him into retirement only to return to an empty house, longing for ‘home.’
