Sonder
Sonder is a word from The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows that encompases a feeling that wasn't previously expressed in English: "the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own." Each character goes about their lives as they observe, judge, and interact with each other, thus living the definition of Sonder.

Charlotte Oxley is a rising senior Film and Television major and Cognitive Science minor at UCLA. She is concentrating in Narrative Directing and will be making her thesis film in the fall. Charlotte was the Film Director for the UCLA Film & Photography Society (FPS) where she served as the Executive Producer of the organization’s nine films for the 2021-22 school year. She will be Vice President of FPS for 2022-23. She has experience in all aspects of the production pipeline from development to post from her internships and on-set work. Her career goal is to impact others with the films she creates and to show the beauty of life on film. She aims to put women in front of and behind the camera to showcase the work of talented female artists and filmmakers.
