Erin Lum (she/her) is Chinese Canadian a dancer, writer, and filmmaker. Her instinctual love for movement has presented her with countless opportunities to explore the ways creative practices can intertwine. In 2020, Erin was a F-O-R-M Commissioned Artist with her collaborator Corinne Langmuir. Her first short Zì Jǐ was presented at F-O-R-M's 2020 festival and was later projected onto the National Arts Centre building in Ottawa as part of the Kipnes Lantern Outdoor Film Festival. Erin is studying at Simon Fraser University and is excited to continue exploring her multidisciplinary artistry.
Corinne Langmuir (they/she) is a queer Taiwanese Canadian writer, video editor, and multimedia creator. Equipped with a great appreciation for film and the arts, Corinne’s interest in media has translated into an outlet for self-expression. They are continually fascinated by the mediums that storytelling can take—whether through literature, movement, or digital works. Corinne was selected as one of the 2020 F-O-R-M (Festival of Recorded Movement) Commissioned Artists. With their collaborator Erin Lum, they directed, produced, and edited their dance short, Zì Jǐ. Corinne is currently continuing their studies pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at Simon Fraser University. They aim to expand their artistic practices and extinguish the barriers of subconscious narratives through multimedia grounds.
