SOME STORIES require courage, a deep breath and a leap. This is a documentary on the organisation Narrative 4 and the story exchange workshop that it ran in November 2018, when 15 English teenagers from Birmingham met 15 Irish teenagers in Limerick for a story exchange workshop designed to develop empathy. Intense, moving and powerful, SOME STORIES describes and reveals the bravery, fears and hopes that they have in common.

Rob Stone is Professor of Film Studies at the University of Birmingham in the UK. He is the author of many books on the cinema and filmmakers including THE CINEMA OF RICHARD LINKLATER, THE ROUTLEDGE COMPANION TO WORLD CINEMA and BASQUE CINEMA.
