Experiencing Interruptions?

Somebody/Anybody

Career-oriented Erin doesn’t have any real friends. Drifter Sadie needs to get a job. As the two of them unpack their first New York apartment together, they discover an unmarked urn in the fridge. An impromptu decision to hold a funeral leads them on a romp through riverside park trying to find somebody/anybody to connect with.

Director Statement

Real connections can come from the most unexpected places—even if it means hosting a funeral for an anonymous dead Florida man with your new roommate. “Somebody/Anybody” explores themes that plague many twenty-somethings: figuring out who you are and who you can rely on when life gets messy and inconvenient. And I’m not just talking about scattering ashes across New York City parks.
