Only a song - Ex-Otago

Usually love songs speak of the phase of falling in love or when love ends.
In this case we speak of a lasting love and sentiment revival, but we also think about the relationships that come to a standstill.

A man comes back home and thinks about his life.

Inside is car, a non-place, feels a series of emotions such as projections of the relationship with his partner.
Odi et amo, the Catulliano concept is revealed in the everyday life of individuals.
Love can make us feel lonely, sometimes unaware of what we live, in part distant though close.

Official videoclip for Italian band Ex-Otago.
This song took part to Sanremo festival 2019.
This videoclip won the Soundies Award 2019, as best Sanremo's videoclip of the year.

Director Biography - Paolo Santamaria

My name is Paolo Santamaria, born in 1990, a cinema lover. After graduation in high school I received my diploma in directing and filmmaking at the National Film School - Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (http://www.fondazionecsc.it). My productions range from documentary to advertising, from music video production to videomapping.

I have the honor to collaborate often with Mibac (http://www.beniculturali.it). I realixzed communication campaigns such as “L’ARTE TI SOMIGLIA”, “IO LEGGO E TU?”, "ART BONUS", "YEAR OF ITALIAN FOOD" and various projects concerning the single museum poles.
In the current year I also had pleasure to create a video coorporate for SIAE group concerning the stratified territorial Network. I have collaborated with various national and international brands / foundations such as Urban Vision, LeBebé jewelry, MAXXI, SkY, RomaEuropa Festival, S&T Med, San Pellegrino, ACI and others.

In music, after the creation of the muse-x.com brand, I had the pleasure of collaborating with:

Mi chiamo Paolo Santamaria, classe ’90, da sempre appassionato di cinema. Dopo la maturità scientifica ho conseguito presso la Scuola Nazionale di Cinema - Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (http://www.fondazionecsc.it) il diploma in Regia e Filmmaking. Le mie produzioni spaziano dal documentario all’advertising, dalla videoproduzione musicale al videomapping.

Volendo citare alcuni lavori più recenti in campo pubblicitario, ho l’onore di collaborare frequentemente con il Mibac (http://www.beniculturali.it) per cui ho realizzato campagne di comunicazione come “L’ARTE TI SOMIGLIA”, “IO LEGGO E TU?”, “ART BONUS”, “ANNO DEL CIBO ITALIANO” e svariati progetti riguardanti i singoli poli museali. Nell’anno in corso ho anche avuto il piacere di realizzare un coorporate video per il gruppo SIAE riguardante la stratificata Rete territoriale.
