The “Evenings of Russian Cinema in Bordeaux” are held each year in the southwest of France under the patronage of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in France.
The project is organized by the City of Bordeaux, the "Center des Festivals France-Russia", the Slavic Association of the University of Bordeaux-Montaigne with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and Rossotrudnichestvo.2
The festival is part of the territorial and economic development strategy of Bordeaux Métropole, the Department of Gironde and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
“IN CITE VERITAS” COMPETITION
The special feature of the “Evenings of Russian Cinema in Bordeaux» is a competition of short Franco-Slavic films.
The festival is an ideal platform for professional meetings and future joint projects.
For example, the rectors of the National Institute of Cinematography in Moscow (VGIK), the Russian University of Friendship of Peoples (RUDN) and the University of Bordeaux-Montaigne have signed an agreement on the program of exchange according to the following schedule:
• Russian Cinema Club (February to June)
Film screenings 2 to 3 times a month in prestigious places in the Aquitaine region.
• Production of films by young filmmakers
Production of films by young directors as part of student mobility.
• Film translation and subtitling workshop (October to May)
Following the results of the jury meeting, the winners are determined in the following categories:

- SPECIAL PRICES ON PROFESSIONAL CRITERIA
