Soheil Goharipour is an Iranian Director, Writer, and Director of Photography. He was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1994. He studied a bachelor of arts in cinema (Specializing in Cinematography) at the Tehran University of art, the most well-known art university in Iran. In 2021, Soheil started to study MFA in Film at Ohio University to pursue his interest in cinematography and expand his horizon in other fields such as directing, screenwriting, and editing. Soheil has directed and shot five short films selected by many national and international film festivals. Also, He has shot almost 50 short fiction, short documentaries, teasers, and video clips. He won the Best Cinematography award for "Passage" short film from Beirut International Women Film Festival (2020) and for "Solar Eclipse" short film from 2nd Tehran University of Art's Film Week (2022). Also, he was nominated for the Best Cinematography for "Woods" short film at the 15th Nahal International Student Short Film Festival (2018). Soheil was selected to participate in the 34th Fajr International Film Festival's talent campus called 'Dar-al-Fonun' in 2016.
