Sofia Campanella is a filmmaker and award-winning screenwriter based in New York, NY. Originally from West Palm Beach, FL, Sofia attended art schools for most of her educational journey, finding her passion for writing and storytelling. Graduating from A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts as a digital media major in 2019, Sofia began working with Miami City Ballet as their Community Engagement documentary filmmaker, creating short films and reels for the company’s outreach platforms.

In the fall of 2020, she relocated to NYC to continue her studies at Hunter College, graduating with a Film BA and honors in December of 2023. She's currently an Associate Producer at Authentic Brands Studio working on an upcoming series. She continues to focus on writing and directing live wire narratives.
