I was born unable to walk because of cerebral palsy.
I am an active member of volunteer community in hometown Berezovskiy. Keen on TV journalism since 15 years old and am an author of three media projects:
I have always wanted to try myself in TV journalism. So since the team of journalists from a local studio “Iceberg TV” made a video about my life, I have become a part of the studio. At the beginning I made news videos but then as a volunteer and person with disability I understood social topics are the most interesting for me. Now I am running my own media project “Social reporter” based on my experience and other stories. Within "Social reporter" I produce videos about traveling on a wheelchair. I have two episodes of this program: about London and about Prague. By doing that I would like to show people that it is possible to travel even if you use a wheelchair.
The photo project “Open to the world” was appeared when I decided to try myself as a photographer. Me and my friends led 24 charity photo session for families with disabled children. As a result, we had photo exhibition. Families not only became models and got commemorative pictures but also had positive emotions during shooting process.
Since last education year we opened youth television studio in the local library. There I became a teacher of TV journalism. I don’t have an experience of work with children but I have knowledge in journalism. So, I decided to share with kids that I learned from my mentor.
I am a journalism major student at the Humanitarian University in Ekaterinburg, Russia. But I become I participante of YEAR program (Year of Exchange in America for Russians) and got a n opportunity to study journalism at University of South Dakota for 2018-2019 education year.
