Anthony Liotta. I'm 21 years old from Ohio, I love making cartoons and struggle with maintaining a decent sleep schedule. I care very deeply about everything I make, and whether it ranges from a passion project about childhood memories or a meta comedy written and animated in 24 hours, I want it to be specific and I want it to be genuine. I love working with goofy or passionate people who want to make great things and laugh while doing it. I love the spontaneous and specific and I really hope you like what you see when you look into what I do.
When I was a kid, my parents used to take my siblings and I to this restaurant/bar hybrid thing. It was dark, a little dingy, but kind of cozy too. There was a lot of loud italians screaming about the football game and parked motorcycles lining the front of the bar. In this bar, there was this TERRIBLE claw machine. One of the ones that didn't have a joystick, just two buttons. And I hated those. But one day when I was little, I gave it a whirl and I won a silly ol' bear. And everyone in the bar who saw it went nuts, and that always stuck with me. Now that I'm older, I think on that. It's weird how that broke down their "macho" guard, and I figured I'd write a film about that experience. My classmates helped out tremendously on that front and I'm very grateful to Sunny, Ross, Nick, CJ, Ama, and Maddie for all of you help on this thing.
