I grew up in a house, where music was always playing. I picked up my first instrument when I was 12. My father would photograph everyone, filling up the family album with stories & memories. I liked taking pictures, but it was the fusion of photography & sound, that made me want to make movies. We all went to the cinema & movies took me to a galaxy far way, mixing all the arts into one, wonderful creation. That’s what reeled me into filmmaking & that’s what keeps me there until today.
I have been working in the media industry for over 20 years, on numerous commercials, promos, documentaries, films and music videos. I founded Snowdrum Audio Visual in 2004, an independent movie production house. For the past 15 years, I have been teaching filmmaking at various academic institutions & schools, such as the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, Holon Institute of Technology, Hadassah Academic College in Jerusalem, Shenkar College of Engineering & Design and Studio Gavra Photography School in Tel Aviv. I have lectured at various conferences and events.
I have recently directed & shot an original 10 episode TV series, to be aired on Amazon Prime & Apple TV+.
Holy Wine is my first documentary feature film.
