Director Biography - Louis Lazaris

Louis has always enjoyed telling stories and takes his inspiration from everyday life. Key themes in his work are (1) the struggles of growing up; (2) the value of friendship; and (3) the challenge of relationships. In 2009 he received a B.A in Communication Studies from Concordia University where he focused in film. Louis has directed music videos for local Montreal bands (Pif Paf Hangover, Young Lungs). His last short film, "I'll Miss You Someday," won the Audience Award at the January 2014 Toronto quarterly film screening "Shorts that are not pants." He is currently submitting his latest short film, "Sleepover," to film festivals and perfecting his taco recipe.
