Ski war

In a world of chaos, the war lives everywhere, even in the ski world between all disciplines (snowboard, telemark, ski touring, alpine skiing, etc..)
One day, a boy wants to change that and unite everyone over their common passion : mountain, sport and snow.
But changing the world isn't always easy : with the police chasing him and all the people trying to arrest him, will he make it ?

Director Statement

Context : This short was made just a few days after the war in Ukraine started. Inspiration or pure coincidence ? We'll never know for sure.

About the short itself : I always felt tensions between ski disciplines, growing in a ski resort and lucky enough to try all of them, I was always sad to hear all the mocking, all the negative comparisons, and the jealousy.
It was never a big deal but it was there and for me it was such a shame because every discipline is great in its own way and I always thought that we could benefit a lot from each other instead of fighting.
So it was one of my dreams to make a video that brings them all together since I started to make videos 8 years ago.

This was also my first scripted production. I had a lot of fun writing, directing, playing, skiing and even editing. But most of all, I realize I'm so lucky to have all my devoted friends helping me on this project :
my classmates missing courses to play the police station part, the grandpa and his little son living next door, the children and their parent helping me, etc.
This is a very small budget movie and I couldn't have done anything of that without them.
